Ava got her first "shiner" this week at daycare. Jacob, one of the two year olds at daycare was going in for a hug and decided he would rather have a "taste"....so he took a bite! His top tooth caught the upper lid and his bottom tooth just below her eye. He is not usually a biter, Ava was his first sampling.
The other two year old, Katie promptly scolded Jacob saying, "Jacob, we don't eat our friends!" Don't you just love how literal they are at this age!
Although it looks pretty nasty, Ava doesn't seem to be too bothered by it....I just hope Jacob got his fill with the first bite!

A couple of weeks ago we went to get Ava's three year old pictures done professionally. Well, she was not having anything to do with the idea...wouldn't smile or even look at the camera. So, after a half hour of effort we called it a day and went home.

Love the pics! Briana did the same when we did prof pics - except she kept crying. We got a couple of shots, but what an exhausting experience!

Eli has had a couple of shiners and stitches twice in his face. I tell you!
I just love Ava's 3 year old photos in the back yard. Maybe I will do that with Eli, I am so behind with his.
