IMMIGRATION MEDICAL

Ava had her immigration medical today. My little peanut is 18.9lbs and 76cm long.
I had concerns about her ears being infected due to the cleft lip/palate and had planned on giving her the antibiotics I had brought with me a few days prior to our flight....but since the doctor says her ears look fine and she would probably get diarrhea from the antibiotics...not fun on an 11hr flight...I decided to hold off on the antibiotics unless she shows signs of an ear infection. She did fine on the flight from Hohhot to Beijing with regards to ear pain...so hoping the next flight goes as well.

Liz,
I'm sure Ava will do fine on the flight but what about aunt Alanna and aunt Sherri?

Wow! She looks very healthy, but her size is deceiving in the pictures. I just weighed and measured Mathieu and he is 72 inch. long and 21.4 lbs. (with his little belly and cubby legs). They will be just about the same size. What fun they will have!

Gee Tara, with those Morris genes Mathieu will be lucky to ever see 72 inches tall! hahaha Judging from the photos, I'm just wondering if Aunt Alanna will decide to bring back a playmate for Mathieu and Ava! I'm thinking that Ava might be having lots of sleepovers at Alex & Alanna's cottage this summer....

Liz, glad to hear that she is doing well and everything was fine with her medical. Hopefully the trip home will be uneventful and the time will "fly"! You trip sure has gone by fast for those of us here in Canada living vicariously!
