Quilt Patch #18
This bright and colourful ladybug fabric was sent by my cousin Anita. Anita wrote:
Why God Made Little Girls
God made the world with its towering trees,
majestic mountains and restless seas
then paused and said, "It needs one more thing."
Someone to laugh and dance and sing,
to walk in the woods and gather flowers,
to commune with nature in quiet hours.
So God made little girls
with laughing eyes and bouncing curls,
with joyful hearts, and beautiful smiles,
enchanting ways and feminine wiles.
And when He'd completed the task He'd begun,
He was pleased and proud of the job He'd done.
For the world when seen through a little girl's eyes
greatly resembles paradise.
Ava Grace, welcome to the family. Love Anita

VISION
Some men see things as they are and ask, "why?" I dream things that never were and ask "why not?"

Quilt Patch # 16
This patch of football fabric was sent by Chris, my cousin Anita's daughter's fiance. Chris wrote: Ava Grace: "Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit." Ava, you are a winner.
Chris
