SNOW....for Mali!

A few weeks back I read on Alison and Mali's blog(My Chinese Dream) that Mali desperately wanted to SEE and PLAY in the snow. Well, we can't help you out with your request to play in the snow...but we sure can fill your rquest to see snow...as you will see below we have quite an abundance of the white stuff!

CHRISTMAS DAY 2008!

We spent a quiet Christmas Day... just the two of us. We opened gifts, played with them all, had a late breakfast, took a long nap and then got dressed and headed over to Nana and Papa's for more gift opening and Christmas Dinner.

SUNSET WITH ALISON & MALI!

Last week while in Naples, Florida we met up with fellow single mom and blogger Alison and her extrodinary daughter, Mali! While up to their ears with boxes and piles of stuff in preparation for moving out of their condo within the week, they graciously made time to meet up with us, not once but twice ! We first met one evening for dinner after Alison finished work and picked Mali up. We had a great time visiting and talking about our wonderful girls. Ava couldn't stop talking about Mali over the rest of the week until we met up again, Sunday night at the beach to watch the sunset. The girls had a great time splashing in the waves...or in Ava's case RUNNING from the waves, and collecting shells. We can't wait to meet up with Alison and Mali on our next visit to Florida...and hopefully Kris will be able to make it that time.(we missed seeing her)
