DAY AT THE LOCAL ZOO!

Last week we spent part of a day at the local zoo. Ava really enjoyed the area where the small animals roam free. She loved the baby goats running up to great her! Once we got to the caged animal area she kind of lost interest...was more interested in running up and down the ramps or climbing on the benchs. Trying to get her to sit still for a few solo pictures was next to impossible...these are the best of the many I took!

WAITING MOMMIES DINNER!!

Saturday Sept 8th we had our 6th "Waiting Mommies Dinner" in Toronto at the Pickle Barrel. It was another night of laughter and fun! We had a special guest from out of town(Montreal), Doris who joined us for the night. It was great meeting her in person as I have been following her blog for some time now. I met a few new people that I hadn't met before and also got to meet Mercy who is just home from China in July.
(back row l to r): Michelle, Dolores, Kathy,Doris, Bev,Lisa and Leslie.
(front row) Catherine, myself and Ava, Julia, Suzanne, Deb and Mercy(sleeping), and Lori.

This is beautiful Mercy, all tuckered out!

Ava made the rounds around the table so everyone could have a "squeeze" and "cuddle"!
