MORE QUILT SQUARES!

I received a package in the mail today and in it was this letter. It is from Kelly Thompson, my cousin Anne Marie's sister in law. I don't know her but she has been following my journey to adopt Ava after getting my blog address from Anne Marie. After reading this letter it brought tears to my eyes to see just how many people care for Ava and want to be part of her quilt.
Thank you so much Kelly and family for taking the time to help with Ava's quilt, it was very thoughtful of you all.

AVA'S FIRST SWIM!!!

This past Saturday we were invited for a swim and barbecue at my friend Sherri's house. Sherri is one of the friends who travelled to China with me. I think she was having a little bit of "Ava withdrawal" and needed a visit! As far as I know this was Ava's first experience in a swimming pool...and I think she liked it...even though she wouldn't let go of my bathing suit straps!!
After dinner we walked down to the creek near their property to feed the ducks.

Have you ever saved someone’s life? Other than during a Cardiac arrest while working in ICU...I would have to say no.
