THIS & THAT

A few weeks ago I posted this sneak preview of Ava's Halloween costume...you can see her in full costume at the end of this post!

Following Tiffany's (Eliza's Story) idea to post some of Ava's art work rather than try and save it all. For your viewing pleasure:

When I ask Ava to draw "Hugs & Kisses" this is what I get:

The first time I got something other than scribble when I asked Ava to draw the letter "A"!

The first time Ava copies her name...not bad eh!

"Catching Leaves" at the cottage Thanksgiving Weekend!

Isn't she the cutest little Ogre you ever saw!

*other than her Signing Time video's and Dan Zanes concert DVD the only thing Ava has any interest in watching is "Shrek 2". I have a bunch of videos but this is the one that caught her eye and she'd watch it several times a day if I let her!

She IS an absolutely adorable little ogre!!!

Taking photos of her art work is a wonderful way to "preserve" it without the house being overtaken with saved art pieces!

I LOVE that she is going to be Shrek this year...how darling. She is so very special. I remember when you were still waiting, it seems like it has been such a long time now. I was folding that little ladybug shirt you sent Sophia a couple of days ago and thought about you and Ava.

In our house, someone would have been Shrek and someone Donkey. You do the math.

Ava is brilliant. I see a writer (world class bringing you bucket loads of cash) in her future.
How is life back at work? Daycare does wonders to push kids along. Social pressure is one potent yard stick.
